Boats at Belle Haven Marina
Located in the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Alexandria, Belle Haven Marina is a quaint, scenic marina that draws boaters in the busy Washington, DC area. The marina, which was originally the site of a tobacco warehouse in the 1730s, got its name from a settlement of Scottish merchant that used to live there. Today, Belle Haven Marina offers bass guide boats and riverboat rides and also rents out sailboats, sailboards, and catamarans for sailors as well as canoes, kayaks, and Jon boats.
Can't sail? No problem. The Marina Sailing School operates at Belle Haven Marina and offers training in basic sailing, cruising, windsurfing, and racing. Belle Haven Marina is owned by the National Park Service and operated by Belle Haven Marina Inc.
